SUMMARY:

This position defines, develops and optimizes multiple products.  This includes developing customer requirements through primary and secondary market research and analyzing the business metrics to optimize existing products.  The Senior Product Manager collaborates with Marketing Communications, Underwriting, Operations, Sales and Program Management to coordinate the activities of all impacted departments and to ensure that the revenue and profit goals and objectives are achieved for these products.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Define, develop and optimize products based on consumer insights.
  • Conduct primary and secondary market research, including analyzing data, for market strategy and new product development.
  • Identifies new business opportunities or new ways of doing business to expand the market opportunity. Challenges the status quo.
  • Leads the development of the business case, including gathering customer requirements and being the voice of the customer.
  • Responsible for leading the definition of the product roadmap and functional requirements.  Collaborate with the technical team on the development of the functional specifications.
  • Work with Marketing to translate your products into high performing advertising.
  • Monitor product performance and ensures that the company meets goals.
  • Identify unnecessary processes in order to increase the rate at which the company grows.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven results in product management or brand management, preferably in an aggressively growing and competitive industries like technology or consumer packaged goods. Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university
  • Adept at modeling. Comfortable with creating insights out of data analysis in addition to market research.
  •  All applicants must be able to work in the US for any employer and not require sponsorship.
