Sr. Product Manager

RPI is looking for a world class product leader to bring to market our next generation mass customization platform. This is a high-profile role in a new division of the company and an exciting opportunity to redefine how retailers sell personalized merchandise from their existing storefronts.

The successful candidate will be creative, entrepreneurial and self motivated with a solid track record of delivering consumer-facing products and services in a high growth environment. S/he will be a strong, diplomatic leader who can prioritize well, make smart trade-offs and communicate a compelling strategy, backed by defensible facts. This leader will feel equally comfortable discussing how to apply new technologies to solve problems with the engineering team as well as evangelizing the vision and benefits of the product to executives and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Define the product launch strategy and manage the prioritized roadmap
• Lead small, cross-functional team in overall project management, release planning and agile product development process
• Work closely with UI and visual designers to develop an intuitive product flow
• Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
• Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products
• Establish KPIs and use metrics to support strategic initiatives and drive tactical decisions
• Drive business growth by achieving profitability and revenue objectives of the product
• Perform market research, technology assessments, and competitive analysis. Be the expert.
  

Qualifications:

• At least 7 years product management experience, including Agile experience
• Demonstrated success developing and/or managing a highly interactive web application or software-as-a-service product
• Experience leading a mobile application from conception through launch
• Excellent analytic and strategic thinking skills
• Excellent communication skills, written, and verbal, and ability to engage teams effectively
• Ability to work on multiple projects with varying deadlines, ideally in a startup environment
• Sense of hum or and willingness to roll up the sleeves to get the job done
• Bachelor's degree
• P&L experience a plus
