Product Manager - Software

FTE position in south Seattle, WA

This is a fantastic opportunity for a mid-level Product Manager to join an exciting and growing company in south Seattle area.  This person will be responsible for ensuring the strategic direction, planning, execution, monitoring, and on-time delivery of software products and services.  Works closely with R&D and Marketing to ensure that development aligns with product marketing strategy and with corporate goals.

Essential Tasks and Duties:

• Define product strategy and roadmap
• Develop program for intake, analysis and development of new products and features
• Define product goals for price, cost and market penetration
• Research and document competitive analysis
• Communicate with customers, sales and support to define new product requests
• Perform product demonstrations to customers, sales force and support team
• Maintain current schedule of products in development
• Solicit feature requests from customers, sales and support
• Work with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Operations and F&A to define product requirements and monitor performance of product  goals

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• 2+ years of product management experience
• 2+ years of software industry experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to set goals, and achieve scheduled deadlines
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers
• Product knowledge
• Knowledge of the SaaS business model is a plus
• Understanding of Software Development coding methodologies and life cycles
• Time management and planning
• Strong computer hardware and software knowledge/skills; ability to write requirements that developers can easily use
• Can-do attitude and the ability to take the ball and run with it; work well in an Agile environment

Education:

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
