See you on the third Thursday, February 21 at "Balancing Product Portfolios"
Most product managers have many more new product ideas than can be developed and commercialized with available resources. Choosing the “right” products to pursue in an environment of competing, often contradicting, corporate requirements can be paralyzing. This presentation will provide a straightforward, adaptable framework for prioritizing projects in a way that results in a strong, balanced portfolio of projects that is completely aligned with corporate strategies and decision-making criteria.

For 20 years, Pete Frickland headed product development at Cascade Designs in Seattle. During that time, he oversaw the integrated growth and development of several well-known outdoor brands, including Therm-a-Rest, MSR, SealLine, Platypus, PackTowl and Tracks. Along the way, he was instrumental in the development and commercialization of hundreds of new products. For the past 7 years, Pete has been an independent consultant specializing in the application of pragmatic product development management processes, methods and tools that have proven themselves to be effective at getting more of the right products to market, faster, and with fewer resources.
