Event Description

"Be the content" is a case study in creating and building a brand using social media. Best practices, results and learning from professional and entrepreneurial experience that are useful to any brand large or small will be shared. "Be the content" is a deceptively simple concept about how brands and marketers are really publishers in this age of peer to peer networking. As such, they should express themselves authentically, and deliver content in useful ways to the right people and places to engage.

Speaker Bio:

Holly Brown is a Strategy Advisor for a national Digital Marketing, Social Media and Technology agency called R2integrated. She has had previous executive roles at IPG, Razorfish, Ogilvy and Mather, and Ben & Jerry's. Holly has worked with many clients including Disney, Microsoft, Weight Watchers as well as others. With more than 20 years of experience in Global Integrated Marketing, she has navigated a career spanning the introduction of the Internet, the technology bubble, the birth of digital media and the insanity of the latest mobile/social media. The Brown Lounge is Holly's branded online content channel and is an example of the "Be the Content" concept in
action.
